What would you do to pursue your crush?
Back in the day, or it even happens in this modern time, boys would bring their barkada(gang) and “Harana” which means to serenade in order to impress their crush. This is a way of respectful courting for it also attracts and tells the lady’s parents how serious he is of courting her, for he would go through the whole phase of visiting her and singing to her. This is the old fashioned filipino way of asking out.

This will always be a sweet way of courting.
I remembered this guy who courted me and we used to talk for hours on the phone. Then one time, he suddenly serenaded me. Hee :”> Considering this guy’s not the singer type. SWEET :)
Pero ayon, sadyang may mga bagay na kusang nawawala. Haha.
Ah basta, I’ll wait for the guy who’ll never get tired of serenading me :”> Kaya mag ready ka na, whoever you are. Papakantahin kita ng paulit-ulit. Haha.

The one with the revolving restaurant at the topmost part of the building. Located in Quiapo. I still see the revolving restaurant every time we go to Quiapo but sad to say, it looked really old and abandoned.

BULLFIGHTING IN MANILA!!!
WHOA! So we do have some sporting heritage…
We had our own Kalabaw and they were described as timid and lazy.
Hindi pala totoo na ang kalabaw ay masipag at matiyaga. Hehe!

Woah. We had this before?!? Niiice :)
